On this episode of The Future of Comedy Show we are back at the 308 Brass Rail W/Nationally Touring Headliner Mike Ball, along with FOCS regulars Dick Dickerson, Kate Brindle, Derek Bartlett and Rio Riojas. Please remember doors are at 7pm and show begins at 8pm.

Mike Ball is a nationally acclaimed headliner and the creative force behind the award-winning comedy series, “The Future of Comedy Show,” boasting an impressive portfolio of over 700 shows produced. His comedic prowess has graced renowned venues such as The Chicago Laugh Factory, San Diego Comedy Palace, and various locations across the Midwest, earning the prestigious title of Best Event in Midland by the Midland Daily News.

Amassing a staggering 4 million views on Facebook Reels, Mike’s comedic journey includes performances at illustrious venues like the World Famous Comedy Store and the Nashville Zanies All Stars Show. He brought laughter to unexpected places, including a memorable performance at the Michigan International Speedway during Nascar weekend. Kate Brindle has performed her sarcastic yet upbeat and spunky style of comedy on the Canadian Broadcast Channel, Cox Cable, and Comcast Cable.  She advanced in the California’s Funniest Female Contest, and was featured in the Oddball Comedy Festival and International Great Plains Comedy Festival.  She’s also opened for Louie Anderson, Dave Attell, Bill Burr, Kevin Nealon, Kevin Pollak, and Sarah Silverman.  

Rio Riojas, known simply as “Rio” on stage. This Michigander has been collecting experiences and stories that you won’t believe until you hear them!    Rio’s style is anecdotes mixed with satire and sprinkled with just enough self deprecation to make it all enjoyable. He is all over the state with notable performances at Dr Grins, Detroit House of Comedy and the Robin Theater. Opening and hosting for comedians Jeff Horste, Dick Dickerson and Adam Burke, as well as Wes Ward for Sad Clown Showcase. With his unique perspective, Rio brings topics that all can relate to and have you laughing non stop.
