Combine two popular San Francisco attractions in one visit, with a walking tour of Alcatraz Island and its prison and a Golden Gate Bay cruise.

EXPERIENCE:

Step back in time and experience the legendary Alcatraz Island, a Civil War fort, a military prison, and one of the most notorious federal penitentiaries in US History. Hop on a ferry to the island and a 45-minute audio presentation to acquaint yourself with its history.

Once on Alcatraz Island, make your way up to the cell house prison building and receive an audio headset. Hear stories about actual correctional officers and prisoners, such as Al Capone and George “Machine Gun” Kelly who lived and worked on Alcatraz Island.

Once the audio tour is over, continue taking pictures and exploring the island in your own time. Admire the San Francisco skyline views as you walk back down to the ferry landing and hop on the next ferry headed back to San Francisco.

The Alcatraz ferry will leave on time at the designated time booked. You must arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time at Pier 33.

Then, continue your day out by sailing along San Francisco’s historic waterfront on a sightseeing cruise and admire the stunning San Francisco skyline. Glide past the Presidio, go beneath the Golden Gate Brdige, and around Alcatraz Island. Best of all, choose when you go on your cruise.
