New Orleans: Culinary Bike Tour with Lots Of Food – New Orleans, Louisiana
Join us for a neighborhood food exploration not just biking to our favorite places for their best dishes, but hearing the 300 year history of why we eat the very tasty way that we do
EXPERIENCE:
“You are what you eat”
“We are a product of your environment”
Like many old cliches, these are also truths, and maybe truer in New Orleans than anywhere else.
Does flavor filled food make flavor filled people? Or is it the other way around? We don’t give answers, as we have none. We do have the stories and meals and scenic streets we ride on to get there so you can decide for yourself after experiencing all we have to offer.
Our food, is not just a defining part of out city’s identity and culture but of all of ours as people. How we make our gumbo, which meat we choose to put in our red beans, what spices are in our seafood boil, or which sno-ball stand is best. This is how we get to know one another in New Orleans.
Let’s bike, talk and eat. That is what our lives have qualified us to do.
Come hungry, we will take care of the rest. Leave full and inspired take in more of the city’s food, drink, and music, all of which we have a ton of advice for because you can always count on the kindness of strangers with bikes.
