We launch in Kayaks from the base of the Hoover Dam and enjoy an adventure of a lifetime! Experience the Sauna Cave, 6 Hot Springs, Waterfalls and the world-famous Emerald Cave.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Sauna Cave: We’ll stop here to discover hot springs deep inside the canyon. This first stop is a 140-degree Sauna Cave that has a natural hot spring you walk through to get to the peaceful backside of the cave.

Boyscout Canyon: we’ll get out of our kayaks to explore this area to see hot springs, narrow slot canyons, and some hiking

Gauging Station: we’ll paddle by this site, which was used for monitoring water levels, flow, and sediment content of the river before the construction of the Dam

Emerald Cove: we’ll stop on the beach here for a 30-minute break

Willow Beach National Fish Hatchery: we’ll paddle by this hatchery, where rainbow trout are stocked weekly

Gold Strike Hot Springs: just a 5-10 minute hike away, we’ll head to these hot springs for a quick dip and photo-op

Arizona Hot Springs Beach: we’ll hike about 15 minutes up to this open beach area to enjoy a lunch or snack break

Emerald Cave: This gorgeous cave is formed by natural faulting that lights up emerald green. We’ll paddle through for a quick photo.

Historic Trailhead: this is a quick 5-10 minute hike leading to the 1920’s home site of the Gauger and offers great views for a photo-op
