Small group hikes off the beaten path in Pisgah National Forest. Unique quiet trails with views and spectacular examples of the beauty of the region. Even a waterfall or 2 if time permits.

EXPERIENCE:

During our hike in Pisgah National Forest off the BlueRidge Parkway you will experience mountain views, streams, different wildlife, and all sorts of plants, trees, mushrooms and more. We often finish with extra waterfall views and visits if time permits. We specialize in getting you away from the crowds so that you can enjoy the true beauty that the Asheville area provides, within the Blue Ridge Mountains, on trails more off the beaten path.

All of our guides are licensed with the USFS and have years of experience. Our goal is to make this one of the best experiences of your visit to this incredible area.

We met off interstate 40 west of Asheville (about 20min) at 7:50am to get going at 8am. From our meeting, we drive to the Parkway with quick stops at a mountain lake and a BlueRidge overlook. We finish approximately about 12:30-1PM. We provide water, Gatorade, fruit, power bars and more. You do need your own vehicle as guests often like to drive the BlueRidge Parkway back or stop for lunch per our recommendations.

We do recommend decent footwear at all times of year as the forest gets plenty of rain all year. Consider dressing in layers as the mornings it can be 5-12 degrees cooler over 5000feet. Also a light rain jacket is always a good idea.
