There are 4 wheelchair spaces in the Orchestra and 4 wheelchairs spaces in the Dress Circle. In the Orpheum, there is wheelchair seating on both the Orchestra and Dress Circle Levels with special âÂÂCompanion Seatsâ which provide wheelchair spaces adjacent to regular theatre seats. To access the elevators, enter through the Smithe Street entrance and staff will direct you. Hearing Devices: For those requiring hearing assistance, complimentary receivers for the Sennheiser Infrared Transmission System are available at no charge at the Lobby Coat Check. Quantities are limited. A valid driverâÂÂs license or credit card is required. Lastly, binoculars may be rented at the Main Lobby Coat Check.
Wheelchair and companion seating is configured with a 1 to 1 arrangement in the Orchestra & Dress Circle Levels. In the Orchestra, companions will have a seat provided to them beside the wheelchair. Please note that wheelchair patrons and companions are NOT seated together in the Dress Circle. The companion seat is located in a row in front on a lower level from the wheelchair seat and is separated by a wall. Accessible seating in the Dress Circle area is not recommended patrons who require verbal contact with the accompanying companion. Additional companion seats may be purchased in sections nearby. The concourse area is completely accessible with entry from the main entrance doors. Elevator access available from the main lobby to the Dress Circle Wheelchair accessible washrooms on the orchestra level and the 3rd floor. Depending on show configuration and stage set up, some sections may not be open for all events.
