United Sports & Entertainment is set to bring elite college hoops and community impact to N.O. with Compete 4 Cause Classic (@Compete4CauseClassic), tipping off Saturday, December 13, at Smoothie King Center. This year’s showcase features a thrilling double-header, led by a match-up between stellar women?s basketball teams as the LSU Tigers (SEC) take on the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters (C-USA). Adding emotional depth to this game is the compelling narrative of LSU Head Coach Kim Mulkey, whose ties to LA Tech run deep. Game 2 will spotlight a big-time battle between the LSU Tigers (SEC) & the SMU Mustangs (ACC) ? two powerhouse men’s basketball programs with deep rosters & NCAA Tournament aspirations. Together, these match-ups promise an unforgettable celebration of basketball, culture, & connection?where history meets heart on the court. Rooted in service, the event empowers the participating student-athletes to use their platforms to uplift underrepresented youth in New Orleans.
