The TAR Project invites you to our 2nd Annual Therapuetic Art Party. The Therapeutic Artist’s Resource – The TAR Project – invites you to a night at The Supermarket, alive with 20+ interactive installations, participatory performance, art-making altars, and treasures waiting in our gallery.
Step into “yOUR Core’s Lore,” where art meets the resonant pulse of your own becoming. This year, we call on Re-encountering the Core™, a therapeutic technique developed by founder Orion Crook to access the felt, imaginal center of the nervous system and what to do with it. Our artists are crafting immersive encounters that invite engagement with your core. We will have a smaller art wall of work for sale in our gallery and an auction. Regenerative music will flow throughout the night, setting the tone for moments of deep reflection and connection. The evening culminates in an intentional, therapeutic dance journey, leaving you steeped in inspiration, resilient with your core for what’s next to come.
Every ticket holder will receive, via e-mail, a 20-minute guided meditation to take prior to your arrival, and we invite you to arrive adorned in your essence. Come dressed in devotion to your core, be it charm, a look, or holding a talisman to represent the center of your core’s story, so that together we can weave and witness our collective core’s lore.

Our event will be hosted at The Supermarket, located in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood of Atlanta, GA. It is an immersive space where art, culture, and community come together. Founded in 2024, this new venue serves as a multidisciplinary hub for innovative events, artistic expressions, and cultural exchanges.

There are three entrances to The Supermarket:- Main entrance: Located on Highland Ave, next to Colette Bread and Bakeshop.- Accessible entrance: Backside of the building, accessible via the back alley.

About The TAR Project:
The TAR Project, founded in 2016, is a Therapeutic Artist Residency that provides selected individuals a range of therapeutic support, including a year of free individual and group therapy sessions, and resources for supplies. The project has evolved into a nonprofit whose mission is dedicated to the therapeutic power of the art experience, pursued through programs that catalyze accessible programs, resources, creative studios, and events that center queer and transgender identities, so that all people can experience the healing and regenerative power of art.
