On this episode of The Future of Comedy Show we are back at the Port Huron Elks Lodge with nationally touring headliner Mike Ball + FOCS favorites Kate Brindle, Richard Mathis and Eric Wielinski. Please remember doors are at 7pm and show begins at 8pm. 

Mike Ball is a nationally acclaimed headliner and the creative force behind the award-winning comedy series, “The Future of Comedy Show,” boasting an impressive portfolio of over 800 shows produced. His comedic prowess has graced renowned venues such as The Chicago Laugh Factory, San Diego Comedy Palace, and various locations across the Midwest, earning the prestigious title of Best Event in Midland by the Midland Daily News.

Amassing a staggering 4 million views on Facebook Reels, Mike’s comedic journey includes performances at illustrious venues like the World Famous Comedy Store, Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club and the Nashville Zanies All Stars Show. He brought laughter to unexpected places, including a memorable performance at the Michigan International Speedway during Nascar weekend. Notably, he was featured on the #1 show in Vegas, “The Dirty at 12:30.” 

Mike Ball’s impressive career has seen him sharing the stage with comedy legends such as Ralphie May, Dave Landau, Jeff Acuri and SNL cast member Molly Kearney. Kate Brindle has performed her sarcastic yet upbeat and spunky style of comedy on the Canadian Broadcast Channel, Cox Cable, and Comcast Cable.  She advanced in the California’s Funniest Female Contest, and was featured in the Oddball Comedy Festival and International Great Plains Comedy Festival.  She’s also opened for Louie Anderson, Dave Attell, Bill Burr, Kevin Nealon, Kevin Pollak, and Sarah Silverman.  

Richard Mathis: Ladies and gentlemen, get ready to laugh your hearts out with one of the funniest comedians around – Richard Mathis from Battle Creek, Michigan! With a unique style that blends old-school set ups and punchlines with an urban twist, Richard is sure to leave you in stitches. Richard’s material is relatable, hilarious, and guaranteed to have you rolling in the aisles. Having started his career at Crackers Comedy Club in Indianapolis, Indiana, the individual quickly established himself as a top performer. Richard’s hard work and dedication have paid off, with wins at the Detroit to LA competition, the Damented Peach competition, and the Detroit Comedy Rumble. But what really sets Richard apart is his ability to connect with audiences. He is a true master of his craft, constantly exploring new material and approaches to his comedy while staying true to his unique voice and style.

Eric Wielinski-With a mix of storytelling and unique observations of everyday life, Eric has a broad comedy style that is entertaining for adults of any age. Eric has performed at The Laugh Factory in Chicago, The State Theater in Bay City, Michigan, and in various bars, banquet halls, and ballrooms up and down Michigan and in cities across America including New York, New Orleans, and Philadelphia.
