50th Anniversary Celebration of the Boston Raiders Youth Football and Cheer at I.B.E.W. Local 103 – Boston, MA

The 50th Anniversary Celebration committee anticipates over 500 individuals representing five decades of current and former staff, former football players and cheerleaders. We also expect community leaders, parents of the current student athletes, elected officials, donors and community partners.
The event will be held on Saturday, November 8th at the I.B.E.W. Local 103 located at 256 Freeport Street in Dorchester from 6:00pm-10:00pm.
Dress: Black & Silver after 5/Party attire.
The 21+ evening event will include a Reception, Dinner, an Awards Program, Roll Call of Alumni, DJ, Live Entertainment, an Auction and Raffle Prizes. We will also feature a special showcase of Trophies, Citations, and Awards received throughout the 50-year history. We are excited to tell the Raiders’ story – past, present and future, and bring together generations of lives shaped by this incredible organization.
Finally, during the event, we will launch the Harry G. Wilson, III Memorial Scholarship Fund in honor of our late co-founder whose legacy lives on as a former leader in Boston’s African American community. Harry and the “Roxbury Raiders” later renamed as the “Boston Raiders” broke barriers and became well known as the first Black and most accomplished and celebrated Pop Warner team in Massachusetts.
