Kenny Chesney will discuss his new book Heart Life Music, and every ticket gets a pre-signed copy of the book. Please note, this is not a concert. Kenny Chesney went from outside the Knoxville city limits, playing sports and loving music, to becoming the sound of coming of age in the 21st Century. Rewriting and refocusing what a song could be, he fused rock, reggae, bluegrass, and a whole lot of positive energy to become a stadium sized superstar and the only country artist in Billboard’s Top 10 Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years for the past fifteen years.  A songwriter, groundbreaker, visionary, and regular guy, Chesney will talk with award-winning music critic and collaborator Holly Gleason about creating Heart Life Music, the journey to get here, a Nashville that?s been forgotten, the thrill of meeting and befriending heroes, and why pretty normal people can do incredible things. 

Only the main floor is accessible to patrons using wheelchairs. For people who have trouble getting in and out of our seats, we have handicapped accessible seating in the orchestra that have arms that move up and down. In order to make your experience at the Bergen Performing Arts Center more enjoyable, infrared hearing systems are available free of charge from a House Manager in the Lobby.
