Writing their first demos in a dorm room, they built a sound that brings together themes of technology, longing, gaming, and the tension between shyness and self-expression with genres like rock, folk, hip hop, punk, and electronic vibes. Prepare yourself for elements of fantasy RPGs, emotionally charged computer attachment, nerd rage, and much more lore that even the coolest of listeners can enjoy. Add layered production and uniquely crafted compositions, and music of an arcane nature is conjured like nothing one has ever heard before.Naturally reserved, the two found their way with music when words fell short. With the encouragement of their parents, they returned to the studio to tell their story on their own terms. Founded in Cleveland, Ohio, Perched Nerds are now worldwide.
