PROJECT BC, BOURNE OF EXECRATION, & TBA @ N AVE DIY at 441 North Ave – Grand Junction, CO

Project BC is an Indigenous metal band from

Albuquerque, New Mexico, formed in 2018. Their

debut single, One Last Time (2019), tackled themes

of resilience after domestic violence. Though the

pandemic disrupted plans for playing live shows, the

band used the time to write and regroup, returning in

2021 to play a celebratory show for their debut EP,

Dance of the Lycans, featuring the single Show Me

What You Got. After their brief hiatus from playing

live shows, due to health issues, Project BC came

back strong in 2023 with tour plans and with the

release of their second EP, Black, earning new fans

and radio features on Rez-olution Radio, KUNM,

KMHA, Alien X Radio, Tunes from Turtle Island

Podcast, and Overdrive KYAY. They have recently

released their third EP, The Third, in April 2025 which

features the new single God of Everything. To date,

Project BC has played over 50 shows across 8 states,

while getting the opportunity to open for acts such

as, In Flames and Havok. They have also recently

opened for Adema at the Whisky a Go Go in Los

Angeles. They aim to reach 20 states by the end of

2025. Offstage, they organize the annual Cat-alyst

Music Festival, spotlighting Indigenous and local

acts. “If we can help at least one band get to that

next step, then that’s what we’re going to do.”
