For one night only, New York cabaret sensations Marta Sanders and Leanne Borghesi are bringing their critically acclaimed act, The ShowBroads, to Mission Blue. Think big voices, bigger personalities, and a night packed with music, comedy, and just the right amount of mischief.
Called “a sumptuous feast of outrageousness” (Broadway World), ShowBroads is part Broadway belting, part laugh-out-loud banter, and all heart. With Musical Director Cesar Cancino at the keys and Sharon Boggs of Sound Productions on Sound, Sanders and Borghesi serve up showstoppers from the Great American Songbook, Broadway classics, and a few surprises that only these two can pull off.
Meet the Broads
- Marta Sanders: Broadway vet (The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas), MAC Lifetime Achievement Award winner, and a living legend of New York cabaret.
- Leanne Borghesi: Brisbane’s own comedic firecracker, 2022 MAC & Broadway World Award winner, and a “big-boned comedienne” (Time Out New York) who knows how to bring down the house.
