The Anti Group
Adi Newton (Clock DVA) formed The Anti Group in 1978, with the intention of the formation of a multi-dimensional research & development project active in many related areas. Research and development of Sound / Film / Video / Performance and the documentation of each project was the fundamental “Modus Operandi”. Underlining this basic idea lays the deeper philosophical and theoretical.
Adi Newton began his life long involvement with Sound via Painting and through a theatre Project which began his involvement with the electronic Trio The Future from which he founded ClockDVA and TAGC / The Anti Group, both of which are increasingly considered as one of the pre eminent pioneers of 80’s experimental music. The CDVA acclaimed albums include the 1988 electronic masterpiece BURIED DREAMS & the 1980 electro acoustic THIRST ,While TAGC can site the Meontogical Research Recording series and the Ambisonic landmark Digitaria as much appraised and in Influential works.

post doom romance
What Mykel Boyd and seah (Chelsea Heikes) have in common when forming their collaborative artist group, post doom romance, is a keen eye and ear for textures. In both sound and image, they have been solo artists working both in the music industry and the fine arts world. Together, they produce sound, video, and still image compositions that are sensitively layered and textural. Their aesthetic is such that they do not heavy-handedly depict. Rather, they ruminate together in the feeling space of both literary and physical spaces, building their aural and visual language through subtle layering of manipulated field recordings.

Illusion of Safety
Illusion of Safety presents a new electroacoustic composition by founding member Daniel Burke for the Elastic CLEAT 16 channel system. The performance will feature a live collaboration with sound artist Janna Lee using voice and electronics, cellist Sue Wolf, and Burke using laptop & piano.Sue Wolf is a cellist, improviser and multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago. She founded the creative music ensemble PICO while living in Colorado and has performed with Bob Marsh, Jack Wright, Ben Wright, Bob Falesch, Ryan Seward, Carol Genetti, Peter Maunu, Andrew Weathers, Aaron Fanning, and others. Her current project Wolf3000 can be found on Bandcamp.Janna Lee is a Chicago artist who uses her voice to explore various facets of herself, and blur the line between angel and demon. Her solo work combines harsh noise and haunting vocals that probe the dark recesses of a woman’s psyche. She loves to confront uncomfortable things in her solo practice to make sense of them and heal herself.

Matar
The Matar Project is a collaborative venture between Adi Newton and Michael Esposito which began in early 2016 and has been steadily progressing and developing since. This research and developmental Audio Visual project is based on Archaeoacoustics and aims at finding aspects of Archeological and astrophysical theories in relation to Ancient systems of Spirituality,  Metaphysical beliefs and concepts and explores these relationships with psychoacoustic  technology, with the use of frequencies and by utilizing these concepts in to Audible and visual pieces  that transcend conventional Description.
