The Shape of Space invites you into an afternoon of music that honors the spaces between sound, breath and being.
Space can be the room around us, the silence between musical notes, or the pauses we carve out in our lives for what matters most. Through the ancient voices of world flutes from around the globe, including the Americas, the primal power and presence of the Australian didgeridoo, and the heartbeat of global percussion, you’ll be transported into a soundscape that is at once grounding and ethereal
Four award-winning musicians – Pamela Mortensen, Cornell Kinderknecht, Joseph L. Young, and Timothy J.P. Gomez – present an afternoon concert weaving a rich tapestry of sound, spirit and connection.
