Join us at Lump Gallery for a fun and enriching poetry workshop where you can join fellow poets writing about the artwork in the gallery.
- This is a generative workshop, meaning you will make new work.
- Writing poems in response to art is called ekphrasis, so we will be writing ekphrastic poetry.
- The workshop will go like this: 5 min of introduction, 25 min discussion, 45 min writing time, 45 min sharing with the group.
- It is open to any experience level.
- It will be led by Chris Tonelli and Sam Pepple, both poets and educators from Raleigh.
