Kiazii Local Legend Lineup at Rhizome DC – Art Learning DIY Culture – Washington, DC

The Kiazii Local Legend Lineup is a one of a kind open mic experience oragnized by the D.C based Kiazii Collective. This is the only open mic in hte city that places as much of an emphasis on fostering community as it does on providing artists with the opportunity to perform their music. At The Local Legend Lineup you’re going to walk away with a new favorite artists and a strong feeling of comradery amongst the people around you.

Kiazii is a black owned record label based in Washington D.C with a specialization in rock, hip hop and r&b artistry. In addition, Kiazii is a label that focuses heavily on community development within the Washington D.C area. Through a mixture of free and paid programming Kiazii provides up-n-coming artists a non predatory environment to learn, cultivate and display their artistic abilities with the help of older artists in the area.

At Kiazii we champion the artists who teeter between confidence and arrogance in a world where, all too often, artists are programmed to remain humble and shrink their personality in order to advance their careers.
