Troy Weekes at Groove – New York, NY

Troy Weekes​, proudly from Harlem, New York, has been singing since the age of 3 and performing since the age of 14. Beyond his powerful voice, he is also a songwriter, actor, dancer, emcee, and podcast host. Troy sings Gospel, Neo-Soul and R&B music, embodying the best qualities in each of these styles, and creating a unique sound all his own.​

His first TV debut was on Showtime at the Apollo in 2005, where he was named runner up. A few years later, he made it to the Top 3 of the American Idol-style show ‘Empire City’s Lucky Break 2‘. When not working on his own projects, he can be seen performing at open mics, and talent showcases all across America. He also does vocal arrangement, and sings backup vocals for a variety of artists. For example, Troy has performed as a background vocalist for legends Mariah Carey and Karen Clark-Sheard.

Troy can be found playing shows all over the tri-state area, including a weekly residency at Groove in Manhattan’s famous West Village.

There may be an additional stay charge for patrons who would like to stay at their table for the following show time. Groove is strictly 21+ from 9PM onwards. All sales final.
