The Path of Nature’s Painter with Artist Camila Young at The Connecticut Audubon Society at Stratford Point – Stratford, CT
Don’t miss this upcoming event in Stratford, CT. Happening on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at The Connecticut Audubon Society at Stratford Point. Doors open at 4:00 PM.
We invite you to an artist’s walk through a bird sanctuary, where the sky becomes a canvas of wings and feathers. Inspired by shinrin-yoku—the Japanese practice of forest bathing—artist Camila Young places her paintings within the very landscapes that inspire her, reminding us that true beauty often lies in life’s simplest moments.
The day will feature expert panels led by members of the Connecticut Audubon Society and thoughtfully curated by The Table & Gallery, an event designed to linger in memory.
With support from carver Peter Litwin and photographer Robyn Charmel, and Joyce Leiz, Executive Director of Connecticut Audubon Society, we will gather inspiration within the breathtaking setting of Stratford Point Preserve. Together, we’ll celebrate the harmony between art and nature while deepening our appreciation for the conservation of Connecticut’s blue and green spaces.
Following the artist reception, enjoy a Q&A with the artist and conservation experts, along with a “Taste of Nature” featuring Camila’s herbal tea and food.
