Aliah Sheffield – Soulful Minimalism
Aliah Sheffield is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist whose music blends minimalist soul with R&B, creating an intimate and reflective sound that explores themes of love, life, and authenticity.
Born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Savannah, Georgia, she began writing and performing deeply personal music—especially during the pandemic, when she recorded from her bedroom and connected with fans through candid video uploads.
Her debut EP under Def Jam Recordings, These Songs Are For Anyone Sick Of Earth, channels the emotional highs and lows of recent years—touching on betrayal, sadness, exhaustion, and, ultimately, hope.
Aliah’s musical voice is both understated and powerful, inviting listeners into a space of sincerity and soulful introspection.
