2025 PCBA Field Day: Sugar Boards & Getting Ready for Winter
Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025 Time: Arrive by 9:30 AM to gather supplies — Presentation starts at 10:00 AM sharp Location: Beeline of Colorado
Join us for a fun and educational PCBA Field Day as we focus on sugar boards and hive preparation for the colder months ahead.
What to Expect:
- Presentation by PCBA member Brook Courchaine on sugar boards and winter hive prep
- Hands-on workshop: build your own sugar board to take home, ready to place on your hives

- Approx. $20 per board (board & sugar) + $1 per supplement (paid directly to Beeline)
- Purchasing supplies is optional—attendance does not require buying anything
- Review of additional winter procedures to help keep your bees alive and thriving
- Q&A with experienced beekeepers
- Lunch served immediately after the session
Cost to Attend:
- $5 for PCBA members (with code)
- $10 for non-members
