Join us on Friday, October 3rd at 7pm as we host Reese Landry in conversation with Kou T. Nyan to discuss her debut poetry collection, Hope, Love & The Lack Thereof: An Evolution of Mind. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase.

About the book:

In this deeply moving collection, Reese Landry explores the tender spaces between longing and loss, between the hope we carry and the disappointments that shape us. With unflinching honesty and lyrical grace, she navigates the complexities of motherhood, the weight of expectations, and the quiet moments of beauty that sustain us through life’s storms.

From lakeside reflections that capture fleeting peace to the raw examination of relationships that leave us changed, these poems reveal a poet unafraid to confront both light and shadow. Landry’s voice is intimate yet universal, speaking to anyone who has ever held “half a hope” while bracing for heartbreak.

Hope, Love and The Lack Thereof is a testament to resilience—a collection that finds profound meaning in life’s contradictions and discovers that sometimes our most honest moments come from acknowledging what we don’t know, rather than what we do.
