LEVEL I: FOUNDATIONS of PEACEMAKING CIRCLES WORKSHOP
October 3-5, 2025 – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
NOTE: This workshop is completely in-person with attendance required for all three days.
This three-day workshop will provide firsthand, immersive experiences in the peacemaking circle process during which participants will learn about the underlying values of the peacemaking circle process, restorative justice practices, theoretical frameworks, essential components, core principles, and practical applications utilizing the circle process.
- Peacemaking circles are a structured form of dialogue based on indigenous values and principles. Circles foster a sense of community based on mutual respect with broad applications in many different contexts. They provide a way to bring people together to have difficult conversations, to work through conflict or differences, and to build relationships in schools, neighborhoods, workplace, family and the criminal justice system.
Washington OSPI Educator Clock Hours available for all three days.
Workshop fee on a Sliding Scale: Includes all Materials, Lunch, and other Refreshments
