Your participation will support the Comstock Foundation for History and Culture, making a difference while enjoying a night of ghostly excitement!

Experience two haunting nights of investigations for an unforgettable weekend! Our investigation will include the Gold Hill Train Depot, Gold Hill Hotel, Donovan Mill, and this year we’ve added the Mackay Mansion–one of the oldest buildings in Virginia City–to our lineup of haunted sites.

Tickets are $60 per person, per night.

Friday, Oct 3rd, 2025 – Haunted Gold Hill Train Depot & Gold Hill Hotel – Your weekend adventure will begin at the Gold Hill Train Depot with the doors opening at 6:45. Get ready to showcase your most impressive Halloween costumes and join NNGH for our annual pre-investigation celebration at the Gold Hill Train Depot. This event will feature a chance to meet the NNGH team, as we mark our 20th year of investigating and special guests. Explore local vendor offerings, purchase tickets for a chance to win one of the exciting gifts donated by our sponsors, and enjoy refreshments provided for your enjoyment. Don’t forget to take a picture to commemorate the start of the Halloween season!

As darkness approaches, you will have the chance to explore the Train Depot, the Gold Hill Hotel, and its surrounding property. The Gold Hill Hotel is recognized as one of the most haunted places in Nevada, with guests sometimes leaving in the middle of the night and refusing to return! Our tour guides will provide you access to some of the hotel’s most haunted rooms, share its history, and tell stories of the documented spirits that still live there.

NOTE: Closed-toed shoes are required due to some walking on dark, spooky paths; no exceptions.

Saturday, Oct 4th, 2025 – Haunted Mills & Mansion – Check-In

• Meet at 7:00 PM in the parking area of the Gold Hill Train Depot.
• All members of your party must check in together to be placed on the same team rotation.

At night, the Donovan Mill takes on an eerie life of its own. The NNGH team will guide you through the darkness, exploring and investigating areas that have recently been off-limits to the public. Strange and unexpected occurrences happen at the Donovan Mill, along with many documented encounters with spirits from its long history on the Comstock.

During the evening, you and your friends will participate in smaller groups for an exclusive flashlight investigation of Virginia City’s famous Mackay Mansion. Newly added this year to our annual Hills and Mills event, the mansion originally known as the Gould & Curry Mining Company office, has been recognized as one of the most haunted places in Virginia City.

NNGH is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of these and other historic landmarks on the Comstock. One hundred percent of the proceeds from our tours and events are given directly back to the community.
