30th Annual State Fair Klassic Tailgate (VIP Experience) at Kappa Alpha Psi – Dallas, TX

The Dallas (TX) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., proudly presents the 30th Annual State Fair Klassic Tailgate – the ultimate tradition of fellowship, culture, and celebration in Dallas!

This signature event is held alongside the 100th anniversary of the State Fair Classic, featuring the Prairie View A&M vs. Grambling State University football game at the State Fair of Texas. This event draws thousands of attendees each year.

For the VIP Experience (Ticketed):

For our 30th anniversary, we’re introducing an exclusive VIP Experience. Tickets are required for VIP access. This is your chance to celebrate the Tailgate Klassic in comfort — out of the sun, with premium amenities, and surrounded by a lively, exclusive atmosphere.

VIP Includes

• Exclusive access to the VIP Experience tent.

• Reserved tables with 8 seats and individual VIP Experience tickets with open seating/standing room available.

• Two beverage vouchers per guest

• Tailgate bites (light hors d’oeuvres and water)

The VIP Experience is offered in two sessions to keep the tent comfortable and exclusive. Choose from:

• Afternoon Session: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• Evening Session: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Each ticket and table reservation is valid only for the session selected. The tent will be cleaned and reset between sessions.

Important Notes

• General Admission to the tailgate is free and open to the public — tickets are only required for VIP access.

• Each VIP session is ticketed separately. Guests must exit the tent at the end of their session.

• Wristbands and vouchers will be issued at check-in.

• Capacity is limited — once tickets sell out, no additional VIP access will be available.
• Not allowed within the tent: no smoking, vaping, lawn chairs, no coolers, nor outside tables.
• The VIP Experience is designed as a shared hospitality space for guests. Promotional signage, flyers, or marketing materials are not allowed inside the tent or on VIP tables.
