ILÉ ÌFÉ 2025 Fall Season Opening: Charlie & The Tropicales ft. Mireya Ramos at 1600 Louisa St – New Orleans, LA

Thrilled and honored to announce the launch of our Fall 2025 Season’s programming here at ILÉ ÌFÉ! Last spring’s opening and all of the events leading up to our final show this past May were absolutely magical. The amazing music and film, enriching conversations, new acquaintances, and stellar food and drinks made those spring nights something unforgettable! With those memories fresh in mind we took the summer months off to flesh out some new design details in the space, expand the bar, and build out some new programming ideas and collaborations that we can’t wait to share with you. This fall season is going to be spectacular!

With that in mind we’re excited to invite you to our season opener on Thursday, September 25th, a 1950’s Caribbean hotel style soirée complete with delicious Caribbean cocktails and delights, Copacabana style revelry and glamour, and an evening of music provided by the masterful trombonist and bandleader Charlie Halloran & The Tropicales feat. special guest vocalist Mireya Ramos.

Charlie’s music gives a nod to New Orleans’ history as the Northernmost port of the Caribbean as his dance band The Tropicales touches on music from Trinidad, Venezuela, Martinique, Guadalupe and across the archipelago. On this night we’re in for an extra special treat as he’s accompanied by one of ÌFÉ’s longtime friends, the Latin Grammy winning singer and violinist Mireya Ramos! This is going to be such a night to remember!! A cherished last occasion for seersucker suits and linen as we kiss summer goodbye and say hello to a heavily anticipated New Orleans F/W!

This season we’ll be opening our doors a bit earlier for a special 7pm happy hour before the doors officially open at 8pm. We’re stacking the menu with fun new Caribbean + tiki cocktails, and getting some beautiful appetizers ready. Discounted drinks and snacks will be available from 7-8, so come early to grab something to sip on and get yourself a good seat!

As usual, attendance for this evening’s event will cap at 50 guests so please make your arrangements now so you don’t miss out on what is sure to be an absolutely magical night!
