Relief Printmaking (5 Weeks)
Wednesdays September 24 to October 22, 2025

Fee: $350 plus tax
Join us at the inPrint Studio to learn the art of relief printmaking. During this 5 week class you will learn how to carve a linoleum block and print on our studio press. Students will first learn the basics and create a 1-layer print with soft lino, then be challenged to create a 2-layer reduction print with traditional lino on a table-top press. Students will also learn how to effectively print a split fountain (rainbow roll). Class sizes are small for a more relaxed learning experience. All skill levels welcome, from beginners to experienced artists, ages 16 and up. Projects may be adjusted to fit the need of students. Project sizes will remain small to allow for students to grasp the technical skills and to fit the size of our table top press.
All materials provided with class fee.
Please note that as of January 2025, masks are now optional in the studio. You may still be asked to wear a mask while using certain materials for your own safety. Please stay home or wear a well-fitted N95 mask if you feel like you may have some symptons of illness.
inPrint is located at 58 Wade Ave, Unit 8a. The closest subway station is Lansdowne Station, with available paid parking on the east side of the station. At this time, inPrint’s studio is not mobility-friendly.
REFUND POLICY: Refunds available up to 48 hours prior to class start. We will also refund day of ONLY in the case of illness (honour system, thanks!), but you must tell us same day with an email prior to the start of class. We will also refund in the case of our own cancelations. No refunds or credits if you no-show without notice indicated here. Missed classes in multi-day courses do not qualify for discounts/refunds.
