Classical-crossover quintet performing the music of Kurt Weill & Edith Piaf in Beacon, NY’s newest music listening room. $20 adv/$25 door
SAINT RITA (voice, violin/viola, bass, woodwinds and guitar) offers a unique blend of artistry that captures the raw emotion and gritty authenticity of Weill and Piaf’s compositions. The quintet’s performance will transport audiences from Weimar-era Brecht to the Rue Pigalle and across time and space to 1940’s Hollywood and Broadway.
