Micro Series: Transforming your CSA Odds and Ends—$50 at Formaggio Kitchen – Cambridge – Cambridge, MA

Join us for a fun class all about making the most of your CSA box, even when it feels like you have a fridge full of odds and ends. You’ll learn all about transforming your CSA haul into easy, versatile dishes with less waste and more flavor.

Your instructor, Jen, attended cookery school in Ireland to learn how to use what was grown on her farm. In this class, she will share her expertise and inspiration with you.

Together we’ll learn how to turn just about any leafy green into a vibrant, versatile ‘pesto,’ whip up quick pickles in minutes, and explore simple canning techniques that make true fermentation approachable at home. We’ll also build a flexible, flavor-packed soup designed to work with whatever vegetables and seasonings you have on hand, giving you a blueprint for endless variations across cuisines.

Along the way, we’ll dive into the basics of vegetable families and easy swaps, so you’ll walk away with practical skills, confidence, and plenty of ideas for transforming leftovers into something you’re actually excited to eat.

To fully participate in the class:

1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a recipe tastings and recipes.

2. Show up on the day of class! Class will begin at 6:30pm. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please reach out to classes@formaggiocambridge.com when you make your reservation if you or a member of your party has any food allergies or dietary restrictions or requires seating. Our classroom coordinator will help you to determine if the class can be modified to accomodate your needs. The health and safety of our guests is a priority for us.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don’t let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
