Verano Será Bonito may be almost over, but we’re not ready to say goodbye to summer yet! Join us as we celebrate the last actual day of summer at Echo Park Lake. We’ll chat and meet new friends as the sun sets on summer, and then we’ll hop on the famous swan boats for an evening ride on the lake!
Your hosts for this event are Ruth, Dani, and Felicia, our Valley, West LA, and LA chapter presidents.
Once you have RSVP’d on Eventbrite, we will add you to a Partiful where we will coordinate final details.

Agenda:
4:30 pm – 7:30 pm – Picnic & Wine
7:30 pm – 8:30 pm – Swan Boats on the lake. We’ll ride the illuminated night boats!
What your ticket includes:
*A ticket for the swan boat ride (1 hour)
*1 glass of wine/ champagne and/ or a soft drink
If you don’t want to ride the swan boats, please select the non-boat option When you RSVP.
What to bring:
*Snacks & drinks to share. We’ll have enough for a glass of wine/ champagne or a soft drink (sparkling water/ soda), but please bring anything else you’d like.
*A blanket or cushion to sit on
What to wear:
*Anything fun, comfortable & summery!
*The boats might be chilly once the sun goes down, so consider a light jacket
Getting there & parking:
Echo Park lake has street parking in the surrounding residential area. There are also multiple paid parking lots off of Sunset, about a 5 min walk to the park. Parking can be tricky, so please consider ride share options such as Uber and Lyft.

Event Expectations and Disclaimers
Zero Tolerance on Excessive Alcoholism:
Amigas y Mas Social enforces a zero tolerance policy on excessive alcohol consumption. Please drink responsibly. Inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event and possible ban from AYMS.
Non-Refundable Events Policy:
All event registrations are non-refundable. Once your RSVP is confirmed, cancellations cannot be accommodated.
Organization Fee Statement:
A small organization fee of $5 is collected for each event to sustain our community and support future activities. Thank you for your contribution!
No-Show Policy:
Effective immediately, after two no-shows, you will be unable to RSVP for the next Amigas y Mas Social (AYMS) event. This policy is being implemented out of consideration for our chapter presidents and amigas who may have missed an opportunity to attend due to limited spots. We will be keeping track of no-shows to ensure fairness and accountability.
If you can no longer attend an event, please cancel 48 hrs prior
Please be courteous to host leads and only RSVP if you are sure you are coming! We need accurate head counts for planning.
