The Nonviolence Institute is proud to host our 16th Annual Invest in Peace event on September 18th at Farm Fresh Rhode Island. This inspiring evening will celebrate individuals and organizations who embody the spirit of peace, justice, and community.

We are honored to recognize:

As we gather with friends and supporters, we reflect on our shared commitment to building Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of the Beloved Community, a community rooted in dignity, compassion, and nonviolence.

Invest in Peace is more than an event; it’s a celebration of hope. Your support helps us continue to serve Victim Services clients, high-risk individuals engaged by our Outreach Team, and young adults in our SEED (Skills Enrichment and Emotional Development) program. It also enables us to provide essential nonviolence training to Rhode Island educators, students, and community members.

This year, we’re introducing a flexible ticket model, with prices starting at just $20. Our goal is to make Invest in Peace accessible and reflective of our entire community, while allowing everyone to contribute at the level that feels right for them. Every ticket includes the same benefits (with the exception of sponsorships). We look forward to celebrating with you!
