Get ready for an unforgettable celebration of sound, rhythm, and community at Anthem Row: Gogo & Cumbia! On Sunday, September 14 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. this musical mash-up event will bring together two powerful musical traditions, DC’s own gogo and the rich, high-energy cumbia sounds of Colombia for an evening filled with live performances, jam sessions, and nonstop dancing.
The Queens of Go-Go and The Experience Band and Show will bring that gogo sound, while Yeison Landero and Sabrosonicos bring the spirit of cumbia straight to downtown. Between sets, legendary DJ Kool will keep the energy high and the crowd moving, making sure the music never stops. City Tap House will serve up food and drink specials you won’t want to miss, fueling the crowd and keeping the party going all evening long.
