Crowns & Hops x Love, Peace & Spades Presents: Not Your Dad’s Game Night at Creature Comforts Taproom and Brewery – Los Angeles, CA

Love, Peace & Spades is a monthly game night for anyone looking for a fun space to kick it and bond over classic Black family games such as Bid Whist, Uno, Tunk/Tonk, Dominoes, and, of course, Spades—and if you need lessons, don’t worry, we got you!

!!! CALLING ALL VIRGOS !!! This month, Love, Peace & Spades is pulling up to play with the Black-owned @CrownsAndHops Brewing Company to have close out their “Crowns @ Creature” taproom residency in DTLA (1124 San Julian Street).

Hosting an open game play session, Spades Academy lessons, and a Spades mini-tournament at the first Black-owned taproom residency in Los Angeles is a moment not to miss!

We invite you to show up and show out with us from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, as your favorite #BlackFamilyHeirlooms (e.g., Spades, Bid Whist, Tunk/Tonk, Dominoes) will be on deck, sounds by DJ Kiah G (@MakiahIsms / @KiahGMusic), lite bites, and more will be available for you to enjoy along with the summer vibes.

Where: City Market South (1124 San Julian Street)

Registration: Tournament players must sign up to play and be on-site by 2:30 PM promptly. If you don’t have a partner, we’ll match you with someone to play with.

Open Play: All players are welcome to enjoy the available games, but this is not for registering for tournaments.

Skill Level: All levels of players are welcome.
