Saving Seeds, Sowing Growth – Seed Saving Workshop & Farm Dinner Fundraiser

Seeds carry stories and memories. Stories of where we come from, who we are, and what we dream for the generations ahead. Over a decade ago, the idea of Salt City Harvest Farm began as a seed and has since growin into a vibrant, diverse community rooted in food, land, and shared resilience. Each year, we’ve saved seeds and sown new ideas. Some have continued to germinate, while others proved less viable. Some we planted years ago and are quitely waiting for the right conditions to sprout.

Join us for a hands-on Seed Saving Workshop followed by a delicious Fundraising Farm Dinner! Learn the art of saving seeds from your favorite plants while hearing stories from the farmers that grew the seed. After the workshop, enjoy a farm-to-table dinner made with fresh produce from the farm.

Proceeds from the event will help support Salt City Harvest Farms’ goal of purchasing land to ensure long-term land tenure for our farmers. Please help us deepen our roots in Central New York, as we continue to grow food, cultural exchange, and community.
