When We Dance is a night dedicated to exploring the future of African electronic music. Curated by Seattle-based DJ and producer Nayiram, this experience brings together Amapiano, Afrohouse, Afro Tech, and Gqom, creating a space where people can move freely and connect through sound.

Happening right here in Seattle, When We Dance is where people come together for Afro House, Afro Tech, Gqom, and a full celebration of African electronic music.

Each edition highlights artists, sounds, and DJs who continue to shape the electronic landscape. This month, Nayiram is joined by a stellar lineup of DJs representing Eswatini, South Africa, Uganda, and Kenya, offering a true cross-continental showcase.

This is a monthly residency happening every 2nd Friday at Monkey Loft.
