Bharat Chicken and Rice: A Flavorful JourneyExplore the vibrant spices and comforting aromas of Indian cuisine in this hands-on class focused on mastering a classic Bharat chicken and rice dish. Learn to marinate and cook tender, aromatic chicken infused with traditional spice blends, paired perfectly with fragrant basmati rice cooked to fluffy perfection. Finish with a sweet note by making a traditional Suji Halwa (Semolina Pudding), a creamy and refreshing Indian frozen dessert.

Skills and Techniques:• Marinating for maximum flavor infusion• Tempering whole spices (tadka)• Perfecting fluffy, separate grain rice• Balancing spices and acidity• Preparing traditional Indian frozen desserts• Working with natural sweeteners and dairy

This class will deepen your understanding of Indian cooking techniques and flavor profiles, leaving you ready to create an authentic, balanced meal from start to finish.

Classes are approximately 90 minutes – 2 hours

Price is per person, and unfortunately, Sawyer is limited in its ability to register multiple adults for a single class. So, if you would like to register another adult for this class, you must sign them up as your child. Simply choose “ADD CHILD” and enter your guests name and a birthday. This will allow you to register another participant. Price is per person, so it will add the additional cost for the seat. Or you can have your guest(s) create an account and register themselves separately.
