Borrowed from the title of one of his most popular songs, Voyage, Kenny Barron opens his vault of rarely performed music, spanning sixty years of composing to create a retrospective evening of the NEA Jazz Masters prolific artistry. Alongside bassist Kiyoshi Kitagawa and drummer Johnathan Blake, his bandmates of over a decade, this classic trio explores the magic within some of Barrons finest unheard melodies as well as more recent nods to some of his favorite inspirations.—Seats are assigned by date of purchase.
