At a Gal Pals Social Friending event, our friendly virtual host will welcome everyone and give everyone some fun icebreakers to get started.

WHAT KIND OF ICEBREAKER GAMES WILL WE BE PLAYING?

They are fun and simple! Don’t worry, you don’t need to know how to play anything in particular… The host will explain how each game is played. An example game we like to play is “Match The Group”. In this game the host will show you a word followed by a blank. For example: Chicken _________. You’ll write down a word that follows the word Chicken such as “Soup”. Essentially you’re trying to predict what will be a popular answer. We also play an icebreaker game called “Would You Rather” where we ask you fun questions like “Would you rather live the rest of your life without ever being able to watch and movie/TV show or would you rather never be able to listen to any song/music again?”. You answer the question and then you have to try and pick the most popular answer. It’s so much fun! Another fun game we play is similar to Family Feud (The popular prime time TV show). During this game, you’ll be asked fun and easy questions like, “What do you do when you first wake up?”. You and your group will try to come up with the most popular answer and then you’ll find out if you got the top answer. We do different fun games at each event we throw so you can come on many times and never play the exact same game again!

WHO COMES ON TO THIS EVENT?

This event is open to all women. About 90% of the women who attend come by themselves and don’t know anyone else in attendance before coming on. The host starts the event with some fun icebreakers so you’ll start to get to know everyone right away.

HOW THE EVENT WORKS…

– At each Party Of 7 Singles Game Night we choose a cool bar with a great vibe

– We book a table for 7 to 12 people

– After you get your ticket we give you the table reservation name… You just tell the venue host the reservation name and you’ll be directed to your table where you’ll get to meet 7 to 10 fun single strangers who are also looking to meet new people

– Our host will walk you through the event via video on your phone (so there’s no awkward check in process or silly name tags)

– The coolest part about the event is that no one else at the venue will even know you’re at an event. It will just look like a group of friends having fun around a table!

– We start with fun icebreakers and you can order cocktails (or non-acoholic mockails) to get everyone talking and then move into the games (feel free to order food/appetizers if you’d like to as well. everyone pays for their own tab at the venue)

– After the event you can login to our app (it’s a web based app so no download necessary) and contact the people you’d like to stay in touch with trough our app. You can select to contact people . It’s the perfect event to meet fun wing women and activity partners!

This event has led to countless new friendships formed because after the event you’ll be able to stay in touch with the people you met at the event by reaching out and contacting them on our app . After the event you can login to our app (it’s a web based app so no download necessary) and contact the people you’d like to stay in touch with trough our app. After the event is over we allow you to login to the app and swipe on the people you’d like to stay in touch with. It’s similar to a dating app but you’ll have actually met and mingled with the people in person before deciding if you want to match and stay in touch with them and it’s only for women! After you get your ticket you’ll be able to upload a photo of yourself on our webpage (only viewable by the other event attendees). After you sign up you will get an email from us with instructions on how to upload your photo to our app/webpage. It’s the perfect way to meet someone, merging new technology and good old fashioned meeting in real life!

WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE FOR THE EVENT?

There is no specific age range for the event. Typically most of the crowd ranges between 20s, 30s & 40s.

HOW LONG IS THE EVENT?

The event is 2 hours long

CAN I PAY AT THE VENUE DOOR?

We do not accept payment at the venue. You must pre-pay and get your ticket online.

DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE DRINKS?Your ticket doesn’t cover drinks. There is a great selection of drinks (and/or food you can order at the venue). Your ticket covers the cost of us organizing and marketing the event.

HOW MANY WILL BE ATTENDING?

We usually have between 7 and 12 people in attendance. We always try to make sure we have a minimum of 7 (hence our name) people.

CAN I ARRIVE LATE?

Try to arrive on time or even a few minutes early.

CAN I COME ALONE?

Yes, about 85% come on their own.

ARE THERE DRINKS?

Yes, there’s a full menu of great drinks you can order at the bar.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?

Yes you can order food. The venue has a food menu and great appetizers available to order.

IF I ATTENDED A PAST PARTY OF 7 EVENT CAN I ATTEND ANOTHER ONE?

Absolutely! Come to as many events as you’d like.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

While we don’t have a dress code we ask that you please look neat/presentable. What you wear to work or what you’d where for after work happy hour drinks is fine.

IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?

If you need to cancel, please email us and we can transfer you to a future event. However we do not offer transfers if you cancel on the day of the event or don’t show up.
