USF professor John Robison and the Bay Baroque Ensemble present an abso-lute-ly amazing and varied program of music from the late Renaissance through the late Baroque era, including solo lute music from England and Germany, a theorbo sonata by Pittoni, and an archlute sonata by Zamboni. The Bay Baroque Ensemble portion of the concert, with guest artists Patrick Baran and Kathy Johnson on violins and Dr. Dana Milan on harpsichord, features one of Telemann’s finest oboe concertos and a wonderful recorder concerto by Antonio Vivaldi. There will be trills for all ages, and enough ornaments to help you get ready for Christmas!!!
This is an accessible venue
Seating is guaranteed until 5 minutes before the show start time. Afterwards, tickets will be released to patrons waiting in line. The lobby will open 1 hour prior to the event, and the hall will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance.
