Welcome to the Tomato Canning Workshop!
Come join us in person at Little Platte Catholic Worker Farm in Platteville for a fun and informative workshop on how to can tomatoes. Lyric and Allyson will guide you through the process step by step, so you can confidently preserve your own tomatoes at home. We’ll be using fresh tomatoes grown right here on the farm, and will be focusing on classic stewed tomatoes, as well as sharing some information about preserving tomato sauce and tomato jam. You will leave with your very own jar of canned tomatoes!
Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
This class is great for beginners, or experienced canners looking to expand your knowledge and skills!
