Celebrate 16 years of Pig Island NYC™ on Saturday, September 6, 2025, as Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden transforms into an all-inclusive food festival picnic with traditional BBQ and global flavors.

Lay out your picnic blankets and set up your camp chair in Snug Harbor’s South Meadow and try every bite from more than 20 chefs and restaurants at Pig Island NYC™.

Chefs pull out all the stops as they vie for top honors from the Pig Island NYC™ Expert Judges. You’ll find everything from whole hog roasts to bites of belly to aged country ham and everything in between.

Partnering with Pig Island NYC™ chefs and restaurants are local farms and heritage producers. Find exclusive Pig Island NYC™ collaborations and enjoy plant-based selections from the vegetable grilling station and more. Cool off with hard cider, wine, spirits, and craft beer from producers, and cruise down Hot Sauce Alley to sample hot sauces from artisan producers.
