2025 Back to School Dance at Wholly Ground Church, Rental Venue, & Coffee Shop – Walker, LA

5th Annual Back to School Dance

(Middle School & High School Dance)

** Please read the guidelines before purchasing a ticket.**Your ticket purchase is your acceptance of these guidelines. Students who do not follow these guidelines will be asked to leave.

Code of Conduct:

1. Public displays of affection are not permitted. This includes kissing, caressing, extended embracing, sitting on each others laps, etc.

2. Dance etiquette is expected. This means no provocative movements of any kind. While slow dancing, please keep appropriate distance between dance partners.

3. All students must remain in the building until the conclusion of the dance. Once a student leaves the building, he/she will not be allowed to re-enter.

4.No alcohol, cigarettes, vape products, drugs, or weapons of any kind will be permitted.

5. Attendees must be between the ages of 12-19, and if attending as a date, couples must be of the opposite sex.

Expectations For the Evening:

1. Chaperones will be present during the entire evening.

2. A seating area will be provided for parents who choose to stay. [Please puchase a parent ticket if you plan on staying. You will be welcome to sit & fellowship in the old coffee shop area (Coffee shop is no longer open)during the dance. Limited seating available.]

3. Dinner will not be served at this event. Light snacks and water will be provided.

4. Music played at this event will include songs from various genres (clean…no explicit music).

5. A photo area will be set up for the students to take photos with their phones.

All Students – Dress Code:

1. Undergarments must be covered.

2. Clothing must not have any inappropriate logos, images, or language.

3. Any body piercings must be removed except for earrings.

4. Tennis shoes may be worn.

5. Jeans allowed…no holes 2″ above the knee. (Must fit securely and not hang off the waist.)

6. Shorts must be at least mid-thigh or longer. (Must fit securely and not hang off the waist.)

7. Dresses must be at least mid-thigh or longer.

8. Slits are acceptable as long as it does not rise above the mid-thigh.

9. No cleavage showing.

10. Midriffs must be covered, even when arms are raised.

11. No two-piece dresses/outfits are allowed.

***Casual event…come casual or dress up but have fun!!!

Purchase your tickets by Friday, Sept. 5th. But don’t wait the past few dances have sold out!!!!
