Salida Art & Culture Department and Salida Early Childhood Center Present: Creede Repertory Theatre for Young Audiences and a free day of theatre at the Salida SteamPlant! Creede Repertory Theatre is hitting the road this fall with two exciting educational tours designed to spark imagination and build skills through live theatre!
Join us for a special morning of theatre, snacks, and activities with Creede Repertory Theatre, presented in collaboration with Salida Arts & Culture and Salida Early Childhood Center!
Show Schedule – Friday September 5th 2025 Salida SteamPlant Theater – 220 W. Sackett Ave.
10:00 AM – Tiny Tour: Campsite 12 (For ages 5 and under.) Ray sets out on a peaceful solo camping trip… until a surprise visitor shakes things up! This delightful 25-minute interactive show gets young children moving, laughing, and learning through creative problem-solving and play.
10:30 AM – Snacks & Activities! Join us for snacks, hands-on activities, and fun between performances.
11:30 AM – Young Audience Outreach Tour: Raquel’s Purple Pineapple Adventures (For grades K–5)When Raquel gets stuck with summer reading, her imagination comes to life—literally! With the help of Pinkie, a purple pineapple who jumps out of a book, Raquel discovers how stories (and herself) can grow in unexpected ways in this high-energy bilingual musical.
12:30pm- Stay for a Theatre 101 Workshop for Kids after the show!
