Coming in hot from Brooklyn, we’ve got Papi Juice co-founder and resident DJ Adam R.

Oakland Pride Friday, Sept 5th, we’ll be turning it at the NEWLY OPENING Black queer women-owned bar, Golden Ratio at 15th and Franklin St.

Oakland darlings ALIGN (SEEN Collective) and Charles Hawthorne (Five Finger Disco) will be holding down the energy for the night, so you know you’re coming to shake DOWN, don’t even try to front. See y’all on the dancefloor!

Adam Rhodes is an artist, DJ and co-founder of the Papi Juice art collective. His creative ethos is inspired by the rich tapestry of his Carribean and Black American heritages — if you ever hear him DJ live, you’ll hear his passion for dance and house music.

Golden Ratio is located in downtown Oakland between 12th St. BART Station and 19th St. BART Station, and is served by several AC Transit bus routes. We highly encourage using public transportation or ride share, as parking is limited. Please travel with others and keep a special eye out for our femme, trans, nonbinary fam.
