On Sunday, August 31 from 12:30 PM – 5 PM, head to Raymour & Flanigan Showroom, 48‑18 Northern Blvd., Long Island City for a celebration of strength, community, and wellness.
This special event features energizing Zumba sessions led by Maria Assis, a two‑time breast cancer survivor and Zumba instructor, with live music from DJ Johnny Nguyen. Discover more about Paddle for the Cure, a nonprofit supporting breast cancer survivors through water sports and holistic activities like dragon boat racing with the NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst team.
Plus, meet founder and cancer survivor Leah Salmorin as she signs copies of her book Journey to Excellence Through Service. Books and other items will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting Paddle for the Cure.
