Skyler Squglio expertly mans the mast, harnessing hurricane force winds of melody with his grinning, upside-down, left-handed guitar. We had to be extra thoughtful in our selection of the artist who would ignite the fire before the band and keep the flames stoked after they’re done. Formerly known as DJ Deddi, he has now metamorphosized into Javadi Sound. What sort of sonic universe that name implies…we will soon find out. Built on a foundation of reggae and space dub, this man is tapped into a source transcending genre or simple definition. He will expertly sculpt his sets to reflect the shimmer cast by Free Creatures. Javadi Sound casts a spell on dancers; evoking primal expressions of pure release.
