Edible Columbus Summer Dinner at The Gardens at Jorgensen Farms – Westerville, OH

With the launch of our Summer issue, we invite you to join us around the table at Jorgensen Farms for the Edible Columbus Summer Dinner, a seasonal dinner series to celebrate the richness of our community and the flavors of the season.

The Edible Columbus Summer Dinner is more than a meal – it is a shared experience. Each course will highlight the bounty of our region, thoughtfully prepared by Chef Carrie Young, using local ingredients sourced by Yellowbird Foodshed. Over the course of the evening, guests will enjoy an agricultural tour of Jorgensen Farms, the option to shop Jorgensen produce and eggs, mocktails from Zen Cha tea salon, a small panel of speakers, a chef prepared meal shaped by the season, and the company of one another brought together by a love of food and community. As conversations unfold, we hope that the simple act of gathering will remind us of the beauty of belonging.

On the table:

• Tomato and cantaloupe salad with ricotta, basil, chili oil, and herbs
• Caponata risotto with tomato, eggplant, peppers, and panko
• Roasted chicken with smoked mushrooms and rosemary jus
• Smashed redskin potatoes

Dessert:

• Cheesecake with peaches and white balsamic

Dinner will be served outside of the Jorgensen Farms arboretum. If there is rain we will dine inside of the arboretum.
