Gold Celeste is a Norwegian psychedelic pop band blending an animated and vibrant sonic palate of refreshing guitars, nimble drums, frisky bass guitars, bursting synths and organs, and earnest, lyrical vocals. The band met in Trondheim while studying music, and recorded their debut album in thestudio ran by singer and bass player, Simen. After the release of The Glow in 2015 they moved to Oslo where theyve been living in a damp and cluttered rehearsal space/makeshift studio, recording hours upon hours of music. They embrace the analog process of recording live jams, taping trio song skeletons, and continuously expand their musical toolbox. Through this Gold Celeste has elevated their arrangements and their follow-up record is a spirited and eager voyage. This sounds like a poppy Flaming Lips. The GuardianThe Glow is an album so rich and so resonant that its impossible not to go back to -The Line of Best FitFragrantly beautiful, it borders on the more ethereal edge of shoegaze as it flirts andfloats out of the speakers. – Clash Music+-+-+-+Almost two decades into his career, Lionel (Vinyl) Williams is an enduring fixture of the psychedelic scene. He unveiled his Vinyl Williams alias in 2007, immediately establishing the blueprint for a sound that shimmers like bioluminescent glitter. With releases on labels including Chaz Bears Company Records, Requiem Pour Un Twister, and Harmony Records, Williams translates vast, galactic concepts into cosmic sonic textures. It seems fitting that Williams is the inventor of a system for understanding relationships called Musical Astrology an app that allows you to hear the music of your birthdays, as well as the precise musical pitches of the planets in relation to Earth, on any given day.+-+-+-+Ruban Nielson is a New Zealand musician, singer and songwriter, and the frontman of the psychedelic rock band Unknown Mortal Orchestra. He has won two Aotearoa Music Awards and an APRA Silver Scroll, over the course of his bands five studio albums and one extended play.
