We are excited to announce our guest of honor is Mia Hamm. An American soccer legend who dominated the sport, she won two Olympic gold medals and two FIFA World Cup championships with the US women’s national team, and helped University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill win four NCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Championships. A prolific goal-scorer, Hamm was inducted into the US Olympic Hall of Fame and the National Soccer Hall of Fame, cementing her status as one of the greatest female soccer players of all time. She retired in 2004, finishing her career with 158 international goals. With a career marked by her exceptional skill, perseverance, and achievements, Hamm left an enduring legacy in the sport and inspired an entire generation of young players.
